Had an amazing day going throughout the treetop challenge with a great helping hand from Maisie at GoApe grizedale, couldn’t have done it without her help and guidance and definitely made me feel a lot safer with the whole day after her talking us through it and reassurance. Thanks again Maisie

We had a great time at Coombe Abbey Go Ape. The staff are great very friendly and helpful. The safety briefing is very thorough and they are always watching to make sure you are safe.

I was really worried and scared but excited to do the treetop challenge but it was so much fun. Sophie and another guy who’s name I didn’t get unfortunately were a great help and really boosted my confidence. They’re such amazing and kind people who made my experience at go ape amazing. I’d definitely go again :)

I booked with my kids the TREETOP CHALLENGE - at BATTERSEA PARK, After completing the first stage and just staring the second stage a strong wind start blowing, the team asked us to stop the adventure due to safety raison, they offered us either vouchers or a full refund which we accepted. staffs were kind and emphasise about the safety. we will definitely book again

We had a poor experience. And it could have been avoided with better intervention from the stewards who were basically useless. We had a family in front of us with VERY nervous kids..In fact one spent most of his time crying at the height. It took us 3.5 hours to go around !!! The family were oblivious to the hold up they were causing behind them...in fact the dad spent most fo time on his phone !!! I completely understand it takes people with different abilities more or less time. But the whole park was basically stood doing nothing on all the stand points up the trees. 2 of the stewards could see this clearly and did nothing. This shows they do not have the training to deal with a situation like this...or just couldn't be bothered. We were not alone in frustration...you could hear the moans and groans behind us. It ruined our experience and we will not be returning. VERY POOR STEWARDING. The family should have very politely been asked to come down so all the families could have at least enjoyed it. Go Ape need to train your stewards in dealing with a situation like this...which Im sure is actually quite common.

Absolutely fantastic staff at Exeter Go Ape. They are friendly, fun and extremely helpful. The whole set up is very well organised. My family and I were impressed.

During the Segway experience the Segway through me off and caused a huge amount of pain and damage to my knee which I'm still suffering. We were not going fast, nor was the path hilly or rough. I landed in excruciating pain and for 10 weeks was unable to walk and was in constant pain with my knee. An MRI scan showed I had torn cartilage and my knee was all misaligned. Four weeks ago I had an operation to fix it and now I face months of physiotherapy to try and walk properly again. At the moment I cannot bend or straighten my leg or walk without a limp and using crutches and I've no idea if this will improve. I strongly advise to STAY OFF the Segways.

If you are unable to redeem because of covid, tough. They have your money and are not interested in being flexible

Me and my husband went to Go Ape, Whinlatter forest for the Segway experience. We had an amazing time! Our instructor, Jonti was brilliant! Friendly, professional and fun.The Segways were easy to operate and the instructions and training was informative and easy to follow. The paths were a good mix of easy and mildly challenging. Breathtaking views and the instructor kindly took our photos too.Overall, a great experience. Would highly recommend.

I had booked go ape last year may for my partner and myself, unfortunately we were unable to make the date as we both had food poisoning. I then changed the date which they agreed on. We then could not make that date as I fell pregnant and obviously couldn’t attend so we kept the money on our account to be used after I gave birth which was March this year. Obviously COVID happened which was not planned and my voucher was expiring in may. We were still on lockdown so could not attend. I contacted the customer service team to ask for a refund as I was not sure if I would ever be able to come as the lockdown was still continuing into the summer. They told me I could not get a refund even though I explained the above. Went round and round in circles about 3/4 emails later someone responded telling me it would take 10-15 days for the refund to come through. It has been nearly 3 weeks with delayed repsonses from them and still no refund! Will not be giving these people my money ever again!

Visited on Friday with my partner who works at another GoApe site. We did the Zip Trekking with Andy and Sam - the guys were great, brilliant instruction and made it fun but also keeping everything safe. Covid measures were all in place and observed, without interfering with the activity. Cracking day and would definitely recommend to anyone considering it.
